We launched Compyrix with a simple mission: build the best free tools website on the internet. Here is what is available today, what is coming, and the principles that guide every design decision.
Today we are launching Compyrix — a collection of fast, private, and completely free online tools that run entirely in your browser. No sign-up, no ads that block your screen, no accounts required, and zero data uploaded to servers you cannot inspect.
When we looked at the landscape of free tools websites, we saw the same pattern repeated everywhere: slow page loads, pop-up modals asking for your email before you can even use a calculator, paywalls on features that should be basic, and a general disregard for user privacy. Compyrix is our answer to all of that.
What is available on launch day? Nineteen fully-functional tools across calculators, converters, generators, and text utilities. The highlights include a Word Counter with reading-time estimates, a Password Generator with a strength meter, a full-featured Unit Converter (length, weight, temperature, speed), a BMI Calculator with healthy weight ranges, a Percentage Calculator with five common calculation modes, and a JSON Formatter that handles deeply nested structures without breaking a sweat.
That is just the beginning. Our public roadmap has another 48 tools scheduled for release over the next three months. Up next are the AI-powered creator tools for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn — title generators, tag optimizers, description writers, hashtag finders, and video-idea brainstormers. Then come the financial calculators (mortgage, loan, paycheck tax, GPA), the image tools (compression, format conversion, resizing, cropping), and even more generators.
Every tool we ship follows four non-negotiable principles. First, client-side only: if the computation can run in JavaScript in your browser, that is exactly where it runs. We do not upload your passwords, your JSON, or your text anywhere. Second, instant feedback: every calculator updates results as you type, no submit button required. Third, beautiful and accessible: we obsess over spacing, color contrast, keyboard navigation, and mobile layouts. Fourth, genuinely free: no freemium tiers, no "upgrade to unlock" nag screens, no artificially reduced output.
We are also launching this blog to share behind-the-scenes engineering deep dives, practical guides on topics like password security and YouTube SEO, and honest productivity tool reviews that do not pull punches. The best software is built in conversation with its users, so every post has comments turned on and every tool page has a feedback button.

Is Compyrix really completely free?
Yes. All core tools are free forever. We monetize through unobtrusive, non-blocking ads and — eventually — optional premium AI features that sit on top of the free platform. No tool that exists today will ever be moved behind a paywall.
Do you upload or store the data I enter into the tools?
No. All calculators, formatters, converters, and generators run 100% in your browser using JavaScript. Open the Network tab in DevTools and you can verify that nothing leaves your device when you use them. AI-powered tools send requests to our servers only when you explicitly click a Generate button, and those requests are never logged with personally identifiable information.
How often are new tools added?

Can I suggest a tool?
Absolutely. Use the contact form or reply to any newsletter email. Every suggestion goes into our public roadmap and the most requested ones get prioritized.
